The matching pipeline runs in three stages. Stage one parses your resume (PDF or DOCX) to extract structured fields: skills, technologies, job titles, education, years of experience by role, and inferred seniority. Stage two embeds both the parsed profile and the job listing text into the same vector space. Stage three computes the semantic distance between your profile and each listing and ranks the results.

The reason embeddings work better than keyword matching is that they understand meaning, not just word overlap. A listing that says "experience with cloud infrastructure" will rank well for a candidate whose resume mentions "AWS," "GCP," or "Kubernetes," even when none of those literal strings appear in the listing. The matching is also bidirectional: roles that ask for skills you don't have are demoted even if the title looks similar to your background.

Rolize works best for candidates with at least a rough sense of what role they want next. The platform excels at finding strong matches inside a defined category and at surfacing adjacent roles you might not have searched for directly. New graduates use it to find entry-level customer support, marketing, and admin roles. Mid-career engineers use it to find senior technical roles that match their specific stack. Career changers use it to identify which of their existing skills transfer into a target field.

Candidates who are completely unsure what role to look for can still upload a resume and browse, but the matching quality improves substantially once you set target roles, preferred locations, and work-mode preferences (remote, hybrid, or onsite). Rolize currently sources its job listings from LinkedIn. We focus on LinkedIn first because it has the deepest inventory of US white-collar and remote roles, and because the listing data is structured enough to support reliable AI matching. The platform runs its matching layer on top of LinkedIn's listings rather than recreating its own job board, which means new roles surface on Rolize as soon as they appear on LinkedIn.

Additional sources are on the roadmap, including Indeed, Wellfound, and category-specific platforms for healthcare, hospitality, and trade roles. We will announce new sources transparently as they ship rather than rolling them in silently. Job seekers deserve to know exactly where the listings on their feed come from.

Rolize is free to start. Uploading your resume, setting preferences, browsing matched listings, and applying through the standard LinkedIn application flow are all free. No credit card is required to create an account. Most candidates use the free tier indefinitely and never hit a paywall.

A paid tier is on the roadmap and will focus on power features for active job seekers: unlimited resume versions for different role targets, application tracking across multiple roles, deeper analytics on which keywords are working, and priority support. The core matching feed will remain free. We are committed to keeping Rolize accessible to job seekers regardless of whether they pay.

Rolize surfaces remote, hybrid, and onsite LinkedIn job listings, with work-mode and location visible on every match. The AI ranks them based on how well each role fits the experience and skills in your resume, and you control which work modes appear in your feed through your preferences. If you only want remote roles, the feed will only show remote roles. If you are open to a hybrid arrangement in a specific metro, set the preference and the feed will include qualifying hybrid roles.

The work-mode mix in our matched feed mirrors the actual US hiring market. Remote roles are most common in software, customer support, marketing, sales, and HR. Hybrid roles dominate in finance, professional services, and product management at companies with physical offices in major metros. Onsite roles dominate in healthcare, hospitality, retail at scale, and manufacturing. Rolize surfaces all three fairly rather than pushing one work mode over another.
