About Rolize

Rolize is a job discovery platform built around your resume. We help job seekers find more relevant opportunities by analyzing the skills, experience, and preferences you already have, then surfacing roles that align with them.

Our mission

Reduce the time spent on irrelevant job searches

Job seekers spend hours scrolling through listings that do not fit their background. They tune filters that the search engine ignores. They open job after job to find that the "remote" tag actually means hybrid, the "senior" role wants five additional years, or the listed pay band is off by tens of thousands of dollars. The current default job-search experience treats every candidate as the same person looking at the same database, and that costs candidates time they cannot get back.

Rolize was built to change that. We use the information already in your resume and profile to surface opportunities that align with your skills, seniority, and preferences. The platform reads what you actually have, compares it to what each role actually asks for, and ranks the results by genuine fit rather than recency or employer spend.

The goal is simple: less filtering, more relevance. The top of your feed should be a role you would seriously consider taking, not the most recently posted listing or the highest-bidding employer. The bottom of your feed should be filled with roles that are clearly tangential, not roles that almost-but-not-quite match. The middle should give you a fair view of the next tier of options to explore.

We measure ourselves against one outcome: did the candidate find a role they would actually apply for, faster than they would have on a generic job board? Every product decision Rolize makes is checked against that question.

Why we built it

The problem with how job search works today

Most job boards rank listings by what the platform decides is interesting: recency, employer spend, sponsored placement, paid promotion, or generic relevance signals like keyword counts. Candidates are expected to do the relevance work themselves, page after page, until they find something close to what they want. The structural incentive points the wrong way: the platform earns more when candidates click more, not when candidates find a role faster.

The information needed to do the matching well is already in the candidate's resume. Skills, years of experience, role progression, industries worked in, technical stack, education, and a clear pattern of what each candidate has been good at. None of that information should require a candidate to re-enter the same data into a job-board profile form. The resume is the search query already; the platform just needs to treat it that way.

Rolize is what happens when you build a search experience around that idea. The resume drives the feed. Stated preferences shape it further. The ranking surfaces what is actually a match. The candidate spends their time evaluating roles that fit instead of filtering through roles that do not.

How it works

From resume to relevant opportunities

Four steps from sign-up to a ranked feed of roles that match your background. The first three are setup; the fourth is the part you spend your time on.

  1. Upload or provide your resume

Drop in a PDF or DOCX resume, or build a profile by hand. Rolize accepts both.

  2. Rolize analyzes the signal

The platform extracts skills, seniority, target roles, and work preferences from what you provided.

  3. Discover relevant opportunities

Browse a ranked feed of job listings that align with your background and stated preferences.

  4. Review and apply

Open the listings you want to pursue and apply through the relevant application destination.

Who Rolize is for

Built for candidates at any stage

Rolize works across career stages and work modes. The matching adapts to the candidate, not the other way around. New graduates, mid-career professionals, returning workers, and career changers all use the platform in different ways, and the feed reflects that.

  • Students and early-career candidates

Discover entry-level roles, internships, and first-job opportunities that match the skills you already have.

  • Experienced professionals

Find roles that match your seniority and specialization, not just your job title.

  • Remote job seekers

Surface remote-friendly roles across categories, with work-mode visible on every match.

  • On-site and hybrid job seekers

Filter for in-office or hybrid work where it fits your life, with location and arrangement up front.

  • Candidates exploring new career paths

Identify which of your existing skills transfer into a target field through resume-aware matching.

Our values

What guides how we build Rolize

Five principles shape what Rolize ships and how we make trade-offs. When something is hard to decide, these are the values we come back to.

  • Relevance

The top of your feed is the role most likely to fit you, ranked against your actual resume.

  • Transparency

Every match shows the source, location, work mode, and the signal behind why it appeared.

  • Accessibility

Free for job seekers. No credit card to upload a resume, set preferences, and start.

  • Candidate-first experience

No employer pay-to-promote ranking. The feed serves you, not the highest-bidding employer.

  • Continuous improvement

The matching layer learns from anonymized signal so the ranking gets sharper over time.
