This Privacy Policy describes how Rolize ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Rolize job discovery platform, available at https://rolize.com and app.rolize.com.

By using Rolize, you agree to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any authentication credentials you provide.

Resume and profile information

You may upload a resume (PDF or DOCX) or provide profile information directly. We extract structured fields such as skills, work experience, education, seniority signals, and target roles to power resume-based matching.

Job preferences

We store the preferences you set, including work mode (remote, hybrid, onsite), location, target roles, and any keywords or filters you save.

Usage and device information

We collect basic usage data, such as pages viewed, actions taken in the app, browser and device type, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP. This information helps us operate the service and improve the experience.

Communications you send to Rolize

If you contact us through the website form, email, or social channels, we keep the content of those messages so we can respond and improve our support.

• Provide and improve the Rolize platform and matching experience.
• Recommend job opportunities that may be relevant based on your resume and preferences.
• Support you with account, technical, and content questions.
• Maintain platform security, prevent abuse, and detect fraud.
• Communicate service-related updates, including transactional emails about your account.

Resume and profile data may be processed by automated systems to identify job opportunities that align with your background and stated preferences. Rolize surfaces relevant listings; we do not make fully automated hiring decisions, and any application or hiring outcome is handled by the employer or third-party platform you ultimately apply through.

• Service providers. We share data with vetted providers that help us operate the service (for example, hosting, email delivery, analytics, security tooling). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers. If Rolize is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.

We do not share resume content with third-party employers without your explicit action (for example, applying to a role through the relevant destination).

We retain account, resume, and usage information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account or request deletion of your data, we will remove or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Update. Correct or update your account and profile information from within the app.
• Delete. Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Marketing preferences. Opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us.

Rolize uses essential cookies to keep the site functional and analytics cookies (via Google Analytics 4 when configured) to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Rolize is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, information you provide may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Rolize is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you through the service or by email. Continued use of Rolize after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
